What actually matters when you buy sliding glass doors
Three things separate a window that still works in year fifteen from one that does not, and none of them are on the brochure.
1. The frame has to be welded, not screwed
All-welded corners are a single continuous piece of vinyl. Mechanically fastened corners rely on a gasket that eventually shrinks, and that is where the drafts and the water come from. Every frame we install is all-welded.
2. The glass package has to match your elevation
A west-facing wall in Riverside and a north-facing wall in Long Beach need different Solar Heat Gain Coefficients. Selling the same glass for every opening is easier for the contractor and worse for you. We spec by elevation and hand you the NFRC label to prove it.

3. The installation method has to match the condition of the opening
Retrofit into a sound frame is faster, cleaner and cheaper. But if there is water intrusion, dry rot, or you want to change the size of the opening, retrofit just hides the problem. We tell you which one your house needs — including when the cheaper one is the right answer.
What it costs
Most vinyl window projects we quote land between roughly $600 and $1,200 per window installed — and the per-window number comes down on larger jobs, because a crew that is already set up at your house is more efficient on opening twelve than on opening one. Where you land depends on size, style, glass package and how the window is attached to the house. A retrofit installation into a sound stucco opening sits at the low end; a full-frame replacement with new trim and stucco patch sits at the high end. Oversized units, custom shapes and moving glass walls are quoted individually. We give you a written, itemized number before any work is scheduled — no ballpark that changes later.

Custom windows are manufactured to your exact measurements, so production typically runs about 4 to 6 weeks after you approve the order. The installation itself is usually 1 to 2 days for a whole-home project, and a few hours for a single patio door. We clean up and haul away the old units the same day.
Our vinyl windows carry a Full Lifetime Warranty that includes glass breakage — which is unusual, and it is the part most homeowners care about. If a pane breaks, it is covered. Frames, welds and hardware are covered for the life of the product.
In most Southern California cities, yes — window and door replacement is a permitted job, and egress and safety-glazing rules apply to bedrooms, bathrooms and anything near a door or floor. We handle the permitting process as part of the project so it is inspected and legal.
